On Friday, May 31, 2024 thirty-eight students were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society.
The National Honor Society motto is: “Noblesse oblige” which means: Whoever claims to be noble must conduct themselves nobly. These students met the requirements for Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Throughout the year, the NHS members participated in various committees. All of the committees also worked at making things to sell at the fairs and events in school. A part of the proceeds was donated to various charities and people in need, such as City Harvest, a women’s shelter, and journals and notes for family members of people suffering with ALS, a project hosted by Fashion Cares. We are very proud of their efforts and look forward to seeing what the future holds for both them and the National Honor Society.
