On Friday, students from the Rainbow Project, HSFI's Gay Straight Alliance, joined other DOE GSAs from across the city for a historical tour of the Stonewall National Monument led by the National Parks Service.
Students had the chance to learn about the history of this historic uprising and how the events inspired many to continue the fight for LGBTQIA2S+ rights across the country. Additionally, students had the chance to visit the newly opened Stonewall Visitor Center to connect with other students and learn more about the queer civil rights movement.
