As the students research and prepare for school wide proposals on how to spend Participatory funding, they chart academic needs, school culture needs and how many students are serviced by each project. These group wide discussions are happening in all 12th grade classes. This is a project where students investigate how to spend resources on needs that the student body has identified. Teachers guide them in this process in hopes that they will become more civically minded and engaged in their communities.
