On Friday, March 14th, several of our students visited Open Studio for Teens at the Whitney Museum.
This is a a free art-making program on select Fridays where students work with contemporary artists and educators to create and learn new techniques with art projects inspired by the Whitney’s exhibitions and collection.
Current exhibitor at the Whitney, Christine Sun Kim, facilitated the Open Studio. Christine Sun Kim spoke with students and encouraged them to experiment and push boundaries within the medium of charcoal and paper.
Thank you to Ms. Rague for introducing our budding artist to this wonderful program!
