Our Equity and Emotion freshmen learned about the importance of being empathetic. Students reflected on what helps them feel understood and how they show empathy toward others. Our youth leaders then brought everyone’s ideas together to create a class paper chain, decorating the classroom with their shared messages of empathy!

In Mr. Castillo’s Spanish Class #4, students use crossword puzzles to make learning Spanish fun and engaging. The puzzles help them build vocabulary, practice spelling, and improve translation skills. This hands-on activity also encourages teamwork and makes it easier for students to remember new words.
