What is a CUNY?
"CUNY" stands for City University of New York.
CUNY is a diverse network of public colleges around NYC which include both 2 and 4 year colleges. Some of the schools may sound familiar like Hunter College or City College. Every student should apply to a CUNY because as a DOE Student, you're guaranteed a spot in at least one 2 year CUNY school. CUNY Application is free the month of OCTOBER. Please complete the application during this time.
